About Department and Purpose of the Position
Working under the directions of Deputy Executive Director of NUHCS, the research administrative team provides grant administrative support to all NUHCS Principal Investigators (PIs) who obtained research fundings from government and industry sources.
We are inviting candidates to join NUHCS research admin and operation support role, performing critical functions such as managing research assets, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to suppliers, vendors, employees, according to institution's policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager (Research) to liaise and work with NUHCS Principal Investigators' (PI) requests to facilitate the use of department research funds and external research grants.
- Perform end-to-end accounts payable processes, including verification of invoices/claims, processing of payments and postings in electronic finance systems for all research accounts in NUHCS.
- Assist the Manager (Research) with fixed asset transactions such as new assets, disposals, tagging and annual verifications.
- Ensure compliance with corporate & grant policies, and documentation requirements
- Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.
Key Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in business and finance, or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience working in healthcare industry would be advantageous.
- Resourceful, meticulous, good management skills and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and resilient to handle challenges when dealing with dynamic changes
- A team player who is capable of work independently.
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
