Job Overview
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. This role supports daily medical routines, monitors residents' conditions, and responds to emergencies under the supervision of the doctor and head nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preventive and curative nursing care as directed by the doctor and head nurse.
- Monitor and manage the overall health and daily medical needs of residents.
- Participate in and supervise nursing routines, ensuring proper care procedures are followed.
- Oversee and evaluate the work performance of nursing aides and health attendants.
- Respond promptly to medical and emergency situations within the Home.
- Monitor vital signs and document residents' health conditions accurately.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities when needed.
- Diploma/Degree/Professional qualification in Nursing or equivalent.
- Registered Nurse with valid certification from the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Strong ability to provide preventive and curative nursing care.
- Able to respond appropriately in medical emergencies.
- Competent in monitoring vital signs and recognising changes in residents' conditions.
- Ability to assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
- Compassionate, responsible, and able to work rotating shifts.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday (Rotating Shift – 4 days/week); 7.30am to 7.30pm
