About the role

As a Restaurant Chef de Partie at Da Paolo Group Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in the culinary team, overseeing the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes for our customers. In this full-time position, you will be based in our East Region location, working alongside a talented group of chefs to ensure the smooth running of our kitchen operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders
  2. Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
  3. Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
  4. Training and supervising junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent dish preparation
  5. Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer service
  6. Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  7. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a reputable restaurant or hotel kitchen
  2. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure
  4. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  5. Passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  6. Strong communication and teamwork skills
  7. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications would be an advantage
