Job Summary:

The role of Senior Accountant at this mobility technology firm, you will be a core member of the Finance & Accounting team. You will own key accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and support the financial close process. Beyond just bookkeeping, you will help ensure compliance, maintain internal controls, and work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, strategy, business units) to provide insights into the business's financial health.

Job Descriptions :

• Financial Close & Entity Management

• Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned entities with accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and balance sheet schedules.
• Take ownership of the general ledger, ensuring adherence to group policies and local statutory requirements.
• Work closely with business and operational teams to understand financial drivers and deliver variance and trend insights.
• Drive continuous improvements in closing and reporting processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Perform revenue and expense analysis, delivering meaningful variance explanations.

• Compliance, Reporting & Audit

• Ensure compliance with IFRS or local accounting standards, supported by robust documentation and internal controls.

• Prepare and review both management and statutory financial reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits to ensure timely completion of all submissions.
• Support corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other statutory filings, working with external service providers as needed.

• Business Partnership & Process Improvement

• Serve as a finance partner to business teams, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

• Assess, develop, and implement process improvements using tools such as NetSuite, Excel, and automation platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Operations, Marketing, HR, and Strategy to support new initiatives and entity setup.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are preferred
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including responsibilities related to entity management or financial closing.
• Audit experience or background with Big 4/public accounting firms is an advantage.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems is beneficial.
• Experience in fintech, technology, or multi-entity international environments is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to convert accounting outcomes into meaningful business insights.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
