The Opportunity

Join the dynamic team at Income Insurance Limited as our Sales Team Manager (Insurance). In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of passionate sales professionals, driving exceptional results and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and coaching to your sales team, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills and motivation to excel
  • Set clear goals and targets for the team and work collaboratively to develop and execute winning sales strategies
  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement tailored training and development initiatives
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, recognising and rewarding outstanding contributions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
  • Inform strategic decision-making, maintain a deep understanding of the insurance industry
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to hire and attract new Financial Consultants to expand your team and Agency salesforce
  • First point of contact for our Financial Consultants to support the achievement of sales targets

What We're Looking For

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing sales teams in the insurance industry
  • CMFAS (Module 5, 9, 9A), CHI, CGI or DGI, DLI or ACII/FLMI and its equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on achieving results
  • Extensive knowledge of the insurance market, products and customer needs
  • Proficiency in analysing data, identifying trends, and using insights to drive sales strategy
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to continuous improvement
