Job Description & Requirements

  1. Market Analysis and Research : Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities within the structural metal products industry. Analyze market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and areas for expansion.

  2. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Develop strategies to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.

  3. Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. This may include identifying target markets, developing pricing strategies, and creating sales forecasts.

  4. Product Development and Innovation : Collaborate with the product development team to identify new product opportunities or enhancements to existing products based on market demand and customer feedback. Ensure that products meet industry standards and regulations.

  5. Strategic Partnerships and Alliances : Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution agreements with other businesses in the industry to expand market reach and enhance product offerings.

  6. Marketing and Branding Initiatives : Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and branding initiatives that effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's products to target customers.

  7. Project Management : Oversee the development and execution of business development projects, including setting project goals, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and successful outcomes.

  8. Financial Analysis and Reporting : Prepare financial analyses, including sales forecasts, budgeting, and profitability assessments, to evaluate the performance of business development initiatives and make informed strategic decisions.

  9. Networking and Industry Engagement : Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with key stakeholders, stay abreast of industry trends, and identify potential business opportunities.

  10. Team Leadership and Collaboration : Lead and motivate a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
