Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Quantity Surveyor located in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for daily cost control, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, and maintaining accurate cost planning and reporting. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure financial efficiency and accountability throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management
  • Experience in preparing BOQs
  • Skills in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in a dynamic environment
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus

  • To prepare BQ, tender document, cost comparison for tender project including source and negotiate price with suppliers and sub-contractors, etc.

  • Project administration and documentation include preparation of sub-contract, variation orders and settlement of final account, etc.
  • To handle on-going projects and resolve contractual issues with clients.
  • To prepare & submit progress claims to clients and update progress claim report.
  • To oversee all sales support and customer's job site requirements.
  • Prepare drafting and preliminary layout according to client's requirements within timeline.
  • Perform design modifications from drawings as and when needed.
  • To maintain a system on drawing submission, sending of cut list for fabrication, monitoring of shop drawing status.

Requirement:

  • Diploma/Degree with Drafting experience in Interior Fitting Out, Architectural Works, Structural work, and adequate experience in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D drawing.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in similar capacity.
  • Willing to visit sites when required.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Proactive and well organized.
