Overview

This position is a sales operations role. This position is responsible for assisting and coordinating all aspects of the inside sales functions to achieve maximum efficiency and output by helping to ensure materials being purchased arrive on time. This position coordinates and follows up with local vendors to ensure deliveries will not be affected, and updates customers when changes are needed. In addition, this position coordinates all import and export shipments with local freight forwarders, mills, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

This position supports the Sales Account Manager and reports to the Sales Manager.

Job Scope:

  • Working internally to fulfill daily inside sales needs, including order entry into Stratix
  • Managing mill/vendor order delivery dates, updating accordingly in Stratix, and communicating changes to sales and customers when necessary
  • Coordinating with the operations team on daily delivery lists and the weekly Open Order Report
  • Coordinating with operations on vendor delivery status
  • Helping all areas of the organization in order to achieve company-wide requirements and goals
  • Communicating status updates to customers on a regular basis and rescheduling orders based on internal updates or changing customer-side priorities
  • Invoicing orders in the customer system, and working with finance and sales engineers on accounts receivable

Requirements

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in an inside sales / sales coordinator role or similar

- Minimum Diploma in business preferred

- Skills and abilities include excellent oral and written communication skills, quick response time

- Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to work with coworkers and vendors from different cultures and ethnicities

- Must be organized and willing to adapt to changes in processes
