Job Summary

The Production Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day production operations, manage inventory and stock levels, coordinate with HQ and suppliers, and ensure quality control across all production activities. This role is critical in maintaining smooth workflow, supporting staff, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Coordination

  • Arrange and issue daily work orders for production staff.
  • Serve as the main liaison between HQ Admin and the production team for all matters related to fixed poles, invisible grills, Zipblind, and curtain tracks.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Track usage of materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag items approaching critical low levels.

3. Reordering & Supplier Liaison

  • Propose stock reorder quantities to management.
  • Place approved orders with suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with management to review monthly reorder points.

4. Quality Control & Reporting

  • Compile service reports on defective items or production issues.
  • Support follow-up actions to maintain product quality and standards

5. Backup & Continuity

  • Stand in for the Production Supervisor during long leaves to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Provide guidance in the absence of senior production staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in production management or operations administration.
  • Strong organisational and inventory management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities with HQ, suppliers, and staff.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Able to work in a production factory environment.

Added advantage

  • Experience in curtain/blind or related manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with production workflows and work order management.
