Ballet Quarter is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to support our growing Front Desk Administration Team We are looking for both full-time or part-time roles, at least 1 weekend availability 8.30am-6.30pm is required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and handle enquiries via phone, email, or walk-ins—providing clear information on classes, schedules, fees, and policies.
- Updating and monitoring booking platform software, supporting administrative tasks that contribute to the operations of daily classes and events
- Studio maintenance, such as cleaning, opening/closing procedure
- Manage class enrolment: process registrations, issue invoices/receipts, collect payments, and update the student database.
- Maintain attendance records and follow up with absent students where needed.
- Support basic bookkeeping: track daily sales, fees, refunds, and coordinate with external (or internal) accounting.
- Keep the studio tidy: oversee office supplies, merchandise inventory, and general cleanliness in all front‑of‑house areas.
- Handle administrative tasks like filing, scanning, copying, typing documents, and maintaining both physical and digital filing systems.
- Manage social media content (drafting, posting, coordinating updates) or coordinate marketing support if required.
- Assist in planning and executing student showcases, open days, and other studio events.
- Provide ad‑hoc support to studio leadership or marketing efforts as required.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working in administrative, front desk or customer-service roles preferred, applicants without experience may be considered
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with young children preferred
- Background in Ballet preferred
- Mandarin speaking skills are advantageous but not required.
