We are a leading enterprise deeply engaged in the global internet gaming industry, with business covering game development and distribution. Due to business expansion, we are now recruiting a Financial Accountant for the Singapore region.

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in accounting and tax execution. This position is responsible for handling the full-set accounting work of the Singapore branch, managing financial and tax data of other cross-border regions, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, and assisting the business team in account operation and maintenance. The role aims to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of accounting operations, optimize tax management, and support the company's overall goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee Local Accounting Work

  2. Conduct timely and accurate accounting treatment for economic activities arising from core business operations such as game development, operation, and promotion, in accordance with Singapore Accounting Standards and the company's internal financial regulations, while taking into account the business characteristics of internet enterprises.

  3. Review the financial data of subsidiaries, resolve accounting discrepancies, and standardize the accounting policies of various entities.

  4. Ensure Tax Compliance and Provide Consultation

  5. Manage end-to-end tax filings (Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.) for the group and affiliated companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.

  6. Strengthen tax risk control, closely monitor changes in cross-border tax regulations, sort out relevant needs, and timely feedback to the headquarters.
  7. Liaise with tax agencies, represent the company during tax audits, and properly handle disputes with tax authorities.

  8. Support Report Analysis and Operational Maintenance

  9. Conduct report analysis as required by the headquarters and provide feasible insights and suggestions to senior management.

  10. Assist business departments in completing data maintenance, operations, and other related work.
Qualifications
  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, taxation, or related fields.
  2. Professional Certifications: Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications such as Chartered Accountant of Singapore, Singapore Certified Tax Professional (SCTP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) certification, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or equivalent professional qualifications.
Work Experience
  • At least 3 years of general ledger accounting experience; those with working experience in internet or gaming enterprises are preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax compliance, tax planning, or tax consulting; those with practical experience in cross-border taxation are preferred.
Skills Requirements

  1. Technical Skills

  2. Proficient in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP function, etc.) and financial software. Familiarity with SQL and Power BI is preferred.

  3. In-depth knowledge of international tax laws and frameworks (such as regulations related to cross-border transactions).

  4. Soft Skills

  5. Possess analytical thinking, pay attention to details, and be able to handle multiple priority tasks within tight deadlines.
