Job Title: Operations Director/VP (base in Suzhou)

Department: Operations

Report to: CEO

Xnergy is a multi-VC funded and Sovereign-backed, global deeptech leader in high power universal wireless charging for global electrified mobility. With deployment presence in close to 40 countries, adopted by almost 100 autonomous robot companies, Xnergy was voted an APAC 25 company in 2020 by Cleantech Group.

* The APAC 25 is an annual list of 25 private sustainable innovation companies that are regarded as having the potential to make a significant impact in a five-to-ten-year time frame.

With its HQ in Singapore and regional office of Suzhou, Xnergy is expanding its physical presence in the US market with growing clientele base.

This position is key in streamlining daily operations, managing supply chains, ensuring compliance and implementing new technology or system to boost company's functionality, productivity and profitability, developing & mentoring of operational staffs as well as leading cross-functioning teams in achieving overall company's objectives.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Planning

o  Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company's growth objectives

2.    
Process Optimisation

o  Implement & improve internal processes, systems and workflows to maximise efficiency and productivity

3.    
Supply Chain & Production Management

o  Oversee and optimise supply chain, production via contract manufacturers and logistics to ensure smooth operations

4.    
Team Leadership & Development

o  Build & mentor high-performing operations teams, foster a culture of accountability and lead in recruitment and training

5.    
Financial Management

o  Develop and manage operational budgets, ensure cost-effective resource allocation and monitor financial data

6.    
Technology Implementation

o  Lead implementation of new technology, tools and processes to improve overall operational performance

7.    
Cross-functional Coordination

o  Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations activities across the company

8.    
Risk Management & Compliance

o  Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies and quality standards and manage operational risks

9.    
Performance Measurement

o  Establish and monitor KPIs / OKRs and implement data-driven decision-making processes

Education and Experience

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., electrical and electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering, mechantronic etc.) are welcome to apply
  2. Minimum 10 to 15 years of work experience in operations and production within a hard tech company, including startups
  3. Experience with managing of contract manufacturers across different countries
  4. Excellent Leadership, strategic thinking, project management, analytical & problem-solving, financial acumen, clear communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external teams
  5. Technical proficiency in production, data management and operations
  6. Bilingual in English and Chinese is a must
