Responsibilities

· Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Oversee the monthly closing process to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Manage statutory reporting and audit requirements, ensuring all financial statements comply with the latest IFRS standards.

· Operational Finance Management:

  • Supervise key operational finance processes, including purchase requisitions and orders.
  • Manage operational expenditure, which involves reviewing payables and accruals.

  • Lead fixed asset management, including:

  • Conducting and executing fixed asset verification to ensure the accuracy of the asset register.

  • Fostering strong relationships with asset custodians and providing guidance on asset management best practices.
  • Monitoring and reviewing asset movements, disposals, and impairments for accurate financial reporting.

· Financial Analysis:

  • Review and analyze financial data to support reporting.

· Process Improvement:

  • Support the implementation of new processes and systems as needed.

· Governance and Audits:

  • Promote a strong corporate governance culture by working closely with internal and external auditors.
  • Partner with stakeholders to promptly resolve any audit issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or relevant field
  • 2-4 years of working experience in Accounts/finance field
  • Experience in healthcare environment will be an added advantage
