**Job Description**:
To provide support on finance daily operations and financial management reporting for the School of Computing and to ensure compliance with University's Financial Policies and Procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
As a Concur Processor, verifying staff claims and corporate credit card transactionsProcessing of suppliers’ invoices and request for payments to students and visitorsRequesting for vendor creation and/or amendment where necessary

Accounts Receivable:
Issuing of Sales Billing, Credit notes and reviewing of Debtors’ Ageing reportProcessing refunds for e-Collection system receipts where necessaryTracking incoming fund receipts and prepare donation collection reportGeneral Ledger and withholding tax: Preparation and verification of journal transactions, accruals and withholding tax forms

Financial Reporting:
Monthly preparation of management reports and reconciliation of accounts against SAP StatementsMonthly update of F&E Expenditure against BudgetMonthly upload of reports to Budget Online system

Others:
Quarterly update and monitoring of Outstanding Purchase Order commitmentsFixed Assets: Ensuring proper and timely capitalisation of fixed assets, including intangiblesWBS management on opening and closure, bi-monthly review of Balance Sheet SchedulesProvide advice to internal customers or other divisions of the School on finance related guidelines and policies including day-to-day execution of finance duties to ensure adherence and compliance with NUS Policies and Procedures at all timesLiaison with other functional staff and Central Shared Services staff to resolve issues and put the finance and accounts in contextIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in workflow and cultivate an environment to promote improvementsReview and enhance internal controls, procedure and processes to drive optimal operational efficiency and effectiveness within the SchoolOther ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to timeQualifications
