Trade Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with export control laws, trade regulations, internal policies, and core governance standards.
  • Establish, execute, and uphold export compliance workflows and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory updates in Thailand and globally, and revise internal guidelines when needed.
  • Carry out internal audits and compliance checks to uncover potential risks or shortcomings.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on export compliance rules and best-practice procedures.
  • Coordinate with customs officials, government bodies, and external partners on export documents and compliance matters.
  • Oversee the processing of export licences, permits, and trade paperwork for all outbound shipments.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to integrate compliance across daily activities.
  • Compile and submit compliance reports to senior leadership and applicable authorities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, Law, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in export compliance, preferably in a freight forwarding company
  • In-depth knowledge of Thai customs regulations, international trade laws, and export control requirements
  • Experience with internal control frameworks/policies and risk management implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
