About the role

Mikaboo Interior Design, a leading provider of high-quality interior design services, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position based in the Tai Seng North-East Region, responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our client base.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the local market
  2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new contracts and projects
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
  4. Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches to potential clients
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless client experiences
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall business development plan
  7. Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth avenues

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 years of proven experience in new business development, preferably within the interior design or related industry
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels
  3. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of securing new business deals
  4. Thorough understanding of the interior design industry, including market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape
  5. Proficiency in using CRM and sales management tools to track and report on pipeline and activities
  6. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
  7. A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a focus on driving results and contributing to the team's success
