About the role
Mikaboo Interior Design, a leading provider of high-quality interior design services, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position based in the Tai Seng North-East Region, responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our client base.
What you'll be doing
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the local market
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new contracts and projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches to potential clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless client experiences
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall business development plan
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth avenues
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years of proven experience in new business development, preferably within the interior design or related industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of securing new business deals
- Thorough understanding of the interior design industry, including market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales management tools to track and report on pipeline and activities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
- A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a focus on driving results and contributing to the team's success
