Responsibilities:
Quality Monitoring & Control:
Regularly monitor and assess the quality of buns and other bakery products produced in the central kitchen and distributed across various outlets.
- Implement and oversee stringent quality control measures to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
Training & Staff Development:
Conduct training sessions for bakers and other production staff to ensure consistent quality in all products.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to bakery staff, reinforcing best practices in both production techniques and product presentation.
Recipe Development & Innovation:
Collaborate with the team to create and propose new recipes, flavors, and designs for buns and other bakery products, enhancing the overall menu offering.
- Innovate with new ideas for seasonal or specialty products to increase variety and appeal, helping to meet or exceed the company's sales targets.
Product Promotion & Implementation:
Take the lead on implementing, promoting, and improving both new and existing product lines, ensuring they align with market trends and customer preferences.
- Assist in creating promotional strategies that highlight new items, leveraging their potential to boost sales.
Production Support & Crisis Management:
Stand in as a baker and assume full production duties during emergencies or staffing shortages, ensuring that operations continue smoothly without compromising quality.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with bakery management to continually assess production processes and identify areas for improvement, ensuring efficient operations and high product quality.
- Offer ongoing support for recipe testing, ingredient sourcing, and production enhancements.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in baking, pastry arts, or related fields, with a focus on high-quality production and recipe development.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, train, and inspire bakery staff.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, food safety standards, and production efficiency.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes and bakery innovations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary: Basic up to $4,000 + VB
Time: 4 days 1 off work cycle, 7am-4pm (Latest shift will ends at 6pm +/- depending on the production volume)
