Founded in 2015, Woopa Group is a new generation travel agency and destination management company. We re-invent the travel experience and combine adventure with professional storytelling to create quality experiences for every traveller. The Company manages the following leading tour operator brands: Monster Day Tours, Lion Heartlanders, 8xplore and UBE—each specializing in innovative tour concepts that connect culture, history, and community in meaningful ways.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations and people management processes, supporting the Company's mission to deliver innovative travel experiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, contributing both to the Company's financial health and to building a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
· Handle full set accounts and perform daily accounting duties such as AR, AP and invoicing;
· Prepare monthly and yearly closing, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
· A assist in finance reports and compliance matters;
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax filings, and statutory regulations.
· Attend and represent company at events relating to finance and HR
· Support employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a warm welcome for new employees.
· Assist in planning company cohesion activities, events, and training programs
· Assist in HR administration including maintaining employee records and HR inventory
· Support ad-hoc finance and HR projects and process improvement initiatives
· Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles
· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
· Positive, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3, $3,500.00 per month
