Job Description: Warehouse Manager

A Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. This role involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring safety standards are met, and optimizing warehouse operations to achieve productivity targets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Management: Audit and report inventory, making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage warehouse associates, monitor work, and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and gather feedback from warehouse work team.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse. Ensure smooth operations of the warehouse workforce and follow closely on all deadlines.
  4. Goal Setting: Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads. Monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the warehouse and Training: Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees' skills.
  5. Safety Compliance: Keep up-to-date on the latest safety regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols and be compliance to all Safety Acts.
  6. Coordination: Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Diploma in logistics, supply chain management is preferred.
  2. Experience: Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
  3. Skills: Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  4. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  5. Leadership: Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage staff effectively.
  6. Problem-Solving: Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  7. Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
