A day in the life

  • Perform in line with expectations outlined in the Exercise Experience Coach journey
  • Provide exceptional Group Exercise experience for members, which include the programming and delivery of different class styles available at Virgin Active
  • Maintain equipment and studio areas to brand standards
  • Create an inclusive culture that promotes community engagement and positive reviews
  • Ensure safety for members and team members, and act as a brand ambassador to support marketing activities as needed.

What it takes to be a Rockstar:

  • You have an aligned Group Exercise certification to deliver group exercise classes.
  • You also have your first aid, flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
  • You have aligned experience. You know how to deliver meaningful workouts and encourage mindfulness of the people around you. You're an exercise enthusiast. You love to learn new programs as much as you love to deliver them. You're comfortable connecting with members and thrive on building true community. You may already have a loyal following. A+ for you.
  • You are people focused. You're a raw and magnetic personality. You get a kick out of getting people to those I did it Moments and witnessing their results and achieving their goals. You're confident and cool under pressure. You love a friendly plank competition.
  • Confident, eloquent speaker with excellent listening skills, able to connect with anyone and inspire through a can-do attitude.
