About the Role
To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join our SCALE-Global Business Unit. If you are creative, enjoy developing digital or virtual artifacts and have a keen eye for details, we want you to join our team as an Interactive Multimedia Designer. Reporting to the Head of the Adult Learning Experience Team, you will create illustrations, animations, videos, and interactive content for eLearning. The successful candidate will combine text, audio, animation, photography, and video to create informational and impactful content.

This role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers to conceptualise, design, and create functional and compelling online learning artifacts using graphics, audio, animations, and videos that infuse interactive or gamification elements;
  • Conduct research to design and create original characters, avatars, infographics, and appropriate background scenes to convey concepts for online learning;
  • Assemble media elements and design interactive learning objects using online learning authoring tools like Articulate;
  • Assist in other ad hoc projects, assigned by supervisor/HOD.
Qualifications
  • Academic & Professional Certification
  • A good bachelor's degree/diploma with multimedia design, visual communication and interactive storytelling skills from a reputable university; candidates without experience may also apply.
  • Strong English language proficiency and visual communication skills are essential;
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and proficient in design software's of the Adobe Creative Suite such as After Effects, Illustrator and Premiere Pro;
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Resilient, resourceful, possesses good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
  • Experienced in creating multimedia content;
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., JavaScript) for developing xAPI or cmi5 packages is advantageous;
  • AR & VR development and/or UX/UI design experience will be an added advantage.
