As an Senior Associate Engineer (HVAC & Utilities), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide support during equipment and system start-up, commissioning, and transition from project phase to operational use.
  • Assist in preparing GMP documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and related materials.
  • Contribute to the investigation process, as well as change control and CAPA implementation.
  • Perform, manage, or coordinate routine corrective and preventive maintenance on HVAC and utility systems (e.g., chillers, cooling towers, standby generators, AHUs, FCUs, distribution boards, etc.).
  • Supervise external contractors carrying out both routine and non-routine maintenance work, and manage maintenance schedules as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, ensuring corrective actions are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards, without disrupting operations.
  • Ensure all field activities align with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations, Quality Site Procedures, and relevant local statutory requirements.
  • Carry out all tasks and maintain related documentation in accordance with strict timelines and procedural guidelines.
  • Promote and support EHS compliance and initiatives across all activities.
  • For cGMP-regulated areas, ensure all outputs adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and internal quality standards.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma in an Engineering discipline.

  • Preferably minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in managing contractors in cGMP facility operations.

  • Preferred experience in cGMP requirements for HVAC, Utilities and Maintenance.

  • Must have experience in operating/maintaining rotating equipment.
  • Experience in setting up maintenance systems for brown field sites will be advantageous.
