The Role

The Group Head of IT is responsible for driving innovation, strategic IT leadership, and digital transformation and innovation within the company. Proven ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives, optimize technology investment and build high-performing teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Being dynamic and forward-thinking, he/she develops and executes IT strategies that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience and drive revenue growth. He/She is adept at identifying emerging trends, fostering a culture of innovation and implementing IT solutions that create a competitive advantage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute IT strategy in alignment with company's overall business objectives

  • Ensure that technology investments support growth and innovation

  • Lead company's digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.

  • Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, network, security and support, ensuring reliable and secure IT services across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on F&B industry and recommending innovation solutions to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and manage IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and IT investments deliver a strong ROI.
  • Oversee IT projects, ensuring that they are delivered within timelines, within budget and to the required quality standard.
  • Identify and mitigate IT risk, ensuring that the company complies will all relevant regulations and standards including data privacy and security requirements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing IT team providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure the team has the skills and expertise to meet the company's needs.
  • Manage the relationships with key IT vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring that vendors deliver high-quality services and solutions at competitive prices.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads across the organization to understand their needs and priorities, ensuring that IT services and solutions meet their requirements.

Requirements

  • Master/bachelor's degree in computer science/IT/software engineering/related technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully aligning technology with business goals and drive innovation.
  • Having experience in F&B and retail chain industries is a plus.
  • Willing to travel if required for business needs.
