The Executive in Volunteer Management and Community Engagement (including Micro Job Program) is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the volunteer and micro job programs, and community engagement. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing volunteer, community engagement and micro job activities, and fostering relationships within the community to support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer and Micro Job Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and micro jobbers.
  • Develop and implement volunteer and micro job policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging volunteer and micro job experience.
  • Evaluate volunteer and micro job performance and provide feedback.

Program Development & Community Engagement:

  • Design and execute community engagement strategies.
  • Organize and manage community events and activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings and events.
  • Collaborate with program teams to integrate volunteer and micro job programs and community engagement efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for new programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of volunteer and micro job programs and community engagement efforts

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in volunteer management and community engagement.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and volunteer management software
  • Passion for community service and volunteerism.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
