What you'll be doing?- Lead technical operations: Supervise the Operations team in managing M&E systems, preventive maintenance, and daily facility upkeep while mentoring staff to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Oversee asset enhancement: Manage contractor supervision for planned and ad-hoc works, evaluate proposals, and ensure compliance with service specifications.
- Build relationships: Foster strong connections with clients, vendors, and agencies, addressing feedback promptly and ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct facility checks: Perform regular inspections, verify contractor work, and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
- Drive energy efficiency: Conduct energy audits, analyze utility data, and implement innovative solutions to reduce waste and achieve sustainability targets.
- Troubleshoot systems: Diagnose and resolve issues in water treatment, generators, sewage treatment plants, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Analyze operational data: Compile and interpret equipment performance and energy usage data to generate actionable reports for continuous improvement.
- Manage maintenance: Organize schedules, oversee rectification works, and provide technical guidance during project execution.
- Review tenders: Validate equipment specifications, negotiate contracts, and optimize cost and quality.
- Handle emergencies: Address urgent operational issues and be available for emergency response outside standard hours.
- Engineering background: Bachelor's degree in Building/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Diploma in related field with 5+ years of experience.
- M&E expertise: Proficiency in M&E and building maintenance works, with experience in Integrated Facilities Management preferred.
- Communication skills: Strong ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Adaptability: Willingness to commute via a 7-minute ferry ride to the work location from Punggol Point Jetty.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in MS Office suite.
