
SME Business Development Consultant

Job Description:
As a valued member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by providing tailored financing solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their directors. You will engage with clients to understand their business needs, offer suitable loan products, and build long-term relationships that foster trust and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell a range of financing products, including:
Business loans
- Commercial property loans
- Trade financing
- Other tailored financial solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Understand clients' financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, banking, or financial services preferred (but not mandatory – training will be provided).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professional relationships.
- Good knowledge of SME financing products will be an advantage.
