The Opportunity
Broadcom is seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Country Manager for Singapore and the wider ASEAN region. Based in Singapore, this is a high-impact role that requires a seasoned leader with deep market expertise in the technology sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, and executing the company's strategic direction to achieve ambitious growth targets across the region.
This role is for a leader who is passionate about technology, has a proven track record of growing a business, and is adept at building and nurturing high-performing teams. You will be the face of Broadcom in a dynamic and critical market, working with our most important clients and partners to ensure their success and our continued market leadership.
Focusing on our Software Group, you will have strong Enterprise software sales experience and a proven ability to nuture, develop and negotiate with customers and the internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for Singapore and ASEAN, aligning local objectives with Broadcom's global vision and goals.
Revenue Growth: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets. Drive business development and market expansion by identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
Channel and Partner Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, resellers, and strategic technology alliances to strengthen market coverage and drive sales.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all local laws and regulations. Drive business efficiency and continuous improvement across all functions.
Market Insight: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to ensure Broadcom's offerings remain compelling and well-positioned.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Broadcom at industry events, conferences, and with the local business community to enhance our brand reputation and generate leads.
Talent Management: Recruit, train, and develop a best-in-class team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Proven, progressive leadership experience in the technology sector, with a proven track record as a Country Manager, Regional Sales Director, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of the technology market and business landscape in Singapore and the broader ASEAN region.
- Demonstrated success in managing a P&L, driving both top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in enterprise solution selling and managing complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
