Key Responsibilities
· Identify customer needs, understand their applications, and provide tailored product recommendations for optimal performance.
· Offer technical advice on metal cutting tools, including inserts, end mills, drills, taps, and their proper applications in various machining processes.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions.
· Continuously stay updated on the technical features, specifications, and benefits of metal cutting tools to provide accurate product information and solutions.
· Analyse customer applications and recommend the most appropriate cutting tools to meet their specific needs.
· Preparing technical proposals and quotations.
Job Requirements
· Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Machining, or a related field.
· At least 2-3 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, preferably in the metal cutting tools or manufacturing industry.
· Solid understanding of metal cutting tools such as inserts, end mills, drills, and taps, and their applications across various industries.
· Knowledge of tool materials (e.g., carbide, high-speed steel, ceramics) and coatings, and how they relate to different cutting applications.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers clearly.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address customer concerns and offer effective solutions.
