We are seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer in NAND Product Development-CAD at Micron Technology, Inc. In this role, you will provide CAD support to the NVE Product Engineering Teams, collaborating closely with Design Engineering and Technology Development teams to ensure alignment and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. NVE PE CAD Tool Development and Support:
  • Develop and support custom tools for Design, Physical Verification, and Simulation.
  • Manage M-Files development and support.
  • Participate in MaskTech Tool Development to ensure alignment and utilize TD MaskTech resources.
  • Automate tapeout processes and support DBD (PE) interests, collaborating with Micron-wide teams for global automation utilization.
  • Develop and maintain metrics systems to monitor PE DBD effectiveness and efficiency.
Flash Design Environment (FDE) Support:
  • Own and support PE environments across all sites.
  • Manage Design Project setup for Boise, Singapore, and India PE Sites, including PE and TD Project Access for NVE.
  • Collaborate with Design Teams to ensure environment alignment and share solutions.
  • Support Perforce, SVN, and Design Sync, including permissions and architecture management.
PE and TD Physical Verification Support and Automation:
  • Develop custom Physical Verification methods with Product Engineering and Technology Development teams.
  • Own and support Physical Verification automation for PE and partners like TD and DE.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Semiconductor CAD.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Coursework in VLSI, semiconductor processes, and device physics.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Develop automation methodologies for Tapeout flows and Simulation tools.
  • Provide training and support for new engineers, including instruction and debugging assistance for Product Engineering and partners.
