Temporary Mechanical Engineer with Cad Experience

Mdesign Solutions is a Singapore-based company providing services to companies or agencies with the need for production design, development and manufacturing for medical devices, high-end consumer electronics or robotic solutions.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a temporary assignment for 2-3 months. It may lead to a permanent role in the company. As a Temporary Mechanical Engineer, you will utilize your CAD (Solidworks or ProE) proficiency and testing expertise to support ongoing projects and contribute to the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.

This employment is based in Singapore and requires to be in the office (One North) most of the time. We will not sponsor any working authorization.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Design Support: Assist in the creation of technical drawings using Solidworks or ProE

2. Testing Assistance: Contribute to testing procedures, assist in the execution of tests, and provide support in the analysis of test data to evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of mechanical designs.

3. Prototyping and Validation: Collaborate with the team to build physical prototypes of mechanical designs and participate in the testing and validation processes.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Support the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and test reports.

5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with the existing team members, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and project managers.

Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2. CAD Proficiency: Strong expertise in using CAD software to create technical drawings.

3. Testing Experience: Knowledge of mechanical testing methodologies and familiarity with test equipment and data acquisition tools. Prior experience in conducting tests is advantageous.

4. Engineering Principles: Sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
