Mechanical & Electrical Engineer | BIM CAD Engineer
This programme provides a 26-month structured Career Advancement Programme (CAP) to become an Accredited BIM Professional for Digital Delivery Management. Time on the programme counts toward work experience. The Built Environment sector relies on digital skills; BIM is used to digitally create and simulate building and infrastructure models before construction. AcePLP invites fresh graduates and mid-career professionals from Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, BIM, Mechatronics and Engineering with diplomas or degrees to enrol.
What you will do
participate in an intensive two-month technical BIM and CAD training program
learn on-the-job across building and infrastructure projects in Singapore with guidance from experienced Trainers and Resource Managers
build your expertise and professional network through AcePLP's client database, project assignments and alumni
count the programme toward prerequisites for the SUSS Bachelor of Building and Project Management and the NUS Bachelor of Technology in Engineering, as well as toward the Digital Delivery Management (BIM) accreditation
receive sponsorship for further studies subject to terms and conditions
obtain accreditation for DDM/BIM skills and Specialist BIM Diploma or related degrees after six years in the building industry
Eligibility / Qualifications
Entry-level candidates and mid-career professionals may apply
Strong interest in pursuing a career in the Built Environment Sector
Degree or Diploma in Built Environment-related fields (e.g., Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural Engineering, Green Building & Sustainability, Project or Construction Management, Facilities Management)
Other qualifications considered: engineering subjects, Intelligent Building Technology, Graphic Arts, Visual/Product/Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, etc.
Professionals with prior BIM experience may request a skills test to fast-track development
