Senior Staff Cad Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
Maxlinear is seeking a Senior Staff CAD Automation Engineer to join our team in Singapore, focusing on:

- Maintain the regional ASIC (front/backend) flow scripts, methodology
- Work with ASIC and emulations expert team to define the specification, methodology and development of scripts
- Work with infrastructure Engineering IT and CAD team to integrate scripts into their environment
- Support regional users for scripts which are in place with good response time
- Experience in digital methodology flow development/reference flow, implementation
- Collaborate with EDA partners Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys with value added flow
- Knowledge in design flow, Liberty Formats, Variation Formats, P&R/timing requirements of library, DFT/testing aspect of the design
- Ability to run Verilog simulators based on industry standard
- Good Understanding of the ASIC Design Flow

Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master's in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with 10 or more relevant experience
- Strong coding in Python, TCL, bash scripts using Linux environment
- Good knowledge in using job scheduler - LSF, SGE etc
- Experienced in using version control in perforce, GIT and methodics
- Good in Cadence/Mentor/Synopsys/Apache/others EDA tools
- Strong background in CAD/ Tool Flow development
- Possess problem solving, debugging and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Take leading role & ownership in solving technical problems
- Proven ability to achieve results in fast moving, dynamic environment
