As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for participating in and overseeing all aspects of our restaurant and bar together with the Manager, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, providing service to tables, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests.
**Bar Operations**:
- Supervise the daily operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
- Develop and update bar menus, specialty cocktails, and beverage offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to alcohol service.
**Team Leadership**:
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, including bartenders, servers, and barbacks.
- Schedule and delegate responsibilities to staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, provide feedback, and encourage professional growth.
**Customer Service**:
- Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, setting high standards for staff.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and tact.
- Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
**Service**:
- Ensure tables are set impeccably, and that food and drinks are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
- Knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu offerings, including food and beverage options.
- Providing an excellent dining experience to customers.
**Quality Control**:
- Monitor and maintain beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality checks of beverages and enforce standard recipes and techniques.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment.
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and address any incidents promptly.
**Requirements**:
- A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in hospitality or bar management are a plus.
- Ability to contribute to the development of innovative promotions and events.
- Bring creative ideas to enhance the overall guest experience
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
