Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are currently seeking an experienced IP Specialist Lawyer to join our client. As an IP Specialist Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in managing and advising on trademark-related matters. Your expertise in trademark clearance, enforcement, and prosecution will be essential in delivering high-quality legal services to Simmons & Simmons clients. Our client is a global technology leader in digital payments and financial services.

Key duties include:

• Lead and manage internal investigations across key jurisdictions in APAC, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo.

• Provide support on major litigation matters as required.

• Work closely with the APAC team and report to the team Director based in London.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure effective management of cases.

• Deliver high-quality legal advice in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Person specification:

• 5–10+ years of PQE, with a strong background in litigation and investigations.

• Experience working with financial services clients; preference for consultants with in-house financial services experience.

• Proven ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and add value from day one.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across jurisdictions and time zones.
