As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm's resources and Know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.

**Main purpose of the role**:
Simmons Adaptive are currently seeking Technology/ Data Privacy lawyers interested in advising the firm's clients on TMT matters, on an interim basis.

With technology developing so quickly in countless directions, our TMT team works with an increasingly diverse range of clients including technology firms, global telcos and social media companies, along with clients in digital health and fintech. As Adaptive Consultant, you can expect to do the same.

**Person specification**:

- You are a qualified Solicitor with training from a top tier law firm.
- You have significant post-qualification experience advising on a range of commercia matters including; IT, data privacy, data protection, employment, IP, outsourcing as well as commercial
- Previous experience in-house TMT experience is highly desirable.
- Mandarin skills (spoken and written) also highly desirable.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- You can work autonomously but can also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team.
- You have excellent time management skills.
- You're a self-motivated team player, with a desire to develop strong relationships.
