Facilities & Safety Operations Executive

Salary: Up to $4,700/month

Contract: 11 months (renewable or convertible to permanent based on performance and business needs)

Location: Walking distance from Buona Vista MRT

Hours: Mon–Thu, 8.30am–6pm | Fri, 8.30am–5.30pm

About the Role

Our client, a leading institute driving national initiatives in environmental health through research and innovation, is seeking a Facilities & Safety Operations Executive to join their Facility & Safety Management Section. This role supports the operational readiness, safety compliance, and sustainability standards of research laboratories and specialised production facilities, while contributing to facility improvements and corporate projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day facility operations and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure safe, timely completion of works
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programmes
  • Maintain regulatory permits and ensure compliance with safety, chemical, and biological regulations
  • Support facility upgrades, expansions, and sustainability initiatives
  • Oversee contract documentation and monitor vendor performance
  • Assist with administrative tasks and participate in corporate initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree or higher in engineering, facilities management, environmental health, or related field
  • Relevant experience in facilities management, preferably in laboratory or production settings
  • Knowledge of Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems
  • Familiarity with WSH regulations and risk assessment practices
