**Overall Job Responsibility**:
The Disability Strategy Division’s primary role is to:
- Grow SGE’s thought leadership in disability (such as emerging areas) through landscape and evidence-based research and a tactical international relations strategy and approach
- Interface with and partner MSF and other government agencies on disability related policy initiatives and reviews
- Drive professional standards for adult disability sector and build up professional capabilities in the sector
- Building SGE’s multi-disciplinary panel of professional leads and experts in care planning, assistive technology, disability landscape design and policy-planning, etc.
- Work with SGE’s service development teams to align and ensure integration and coherence of the development of service models
- Manage strategic-level engagements of key disability sector players
- Consolidate, review and analyse data to better support policy and planning, and address sector gaps and needs
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The Senior Manager supports the Assistant Director to plan and/or execute the following work. Depending on the assignment, the Senior Manager works with the team and/or colleagues in other divisions, external stakeholders, partners and vendors to carry out the work. The Senior Manager may also function as a solo contributor.
The **Senior Manager’s**primary role is to work with the Assistant Director to drive ecosystem development.** Amongst other activities, the Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- interfacing with and partner MSF and other government agencies on the development of sector strategies and policy reviews, and bridge and facilitate communication between Policy and Operations teams
- working with SGE’s service development teams (Employment, Lifelong Learning and Disability Support and Services) to align, ensure integration and coherence of the development of service models
- managing strategic-level engagements of key disability sector players (e.g. management of anchor/major social service agencies to build alignment with our strategies, enable their forward planning, guide their capability development)
- consolidating, reviewing and analysing data to better support policy and planning, and to identify emergent needs and gaps
- supporting MSF and SGE in hosting visits to SGE / the Enabling Village
- consolidating, reviewing and analysing data for reporting
- any other duties in support of the Division’s work, as assigned
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**:
- Good degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles, including in policy making, implementation and reviews, service development and performance management, strategy planning, research, international relations, and/or stakeholder engagement
- Experience in social or healthcare sector will be an advantage
- Strong command of the English language; able to write, present and communicate well
- Strong team player and able to work independently
- Self-driven, resourceful and able to multi-task
- Ability to perform data analytics a plus
