**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and coordinate the R&D activities of the cell line development team in line with company strategies, and coordinate the efforts of the team with those of other teams or external parties.
- Lead a diverse team of research scientists in planning, executing and troubleshooting of different projects.
- Lead development of multiple pipelines for various species.
- Monitor research progress, schedule and project budget.
- Identify and select relevant technologies and equipment for cell line development research.
- Identify outside vendors and resources where appropriate and oversee external projects required to accomplish project goals.

**Required background**:

- Ph.D.in Biology/Life Sciences or related field.

**Preferred experience**:

- At least 5 years of relevant research experience and 2 years in managing research teams.
- Experience with developing mammalian/seafood/invertebrate cell culture, specifically stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), embryonic stem cells (ESC).
