**THE ROLE**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
To be responsible for Industrial product portfolio lifecycle and go-to-market strategy. Develop detail execution plans to achieve committed outcomes working together with country sales teams. This role also provides guidance, sales analysis and reporting to improve sales teams" effectiveness. To lead business development initiatives for new segments and managing industry key account growth plans.

You will also be directly responsible to drive sales for IFF/IR in Rest of ASEAN.

The Business Development Manager"s, specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
Accountability #1:

- Develop in-depth understanding of market trends and competitive landscape
- Work closely with sales organizations to develop robust sales strategies by segment
- Lead account planning, new business development activities and sales engagements

Accountability #2:

- Owns product lifecycle management in collaboration with Global Product Line Management
- Develop local references and case studies together with global product line management
- Support sales teams to develop right product / price value positioning & marketing materials

Accountability #3:

- Develop channel coverage by market segment and support development of right partners
- Develop direct, channel sales and marketing skills and competencies metrics
- Develop standard enterprise selling process, opportunities and pipelines management

Accountability #4: Direct sales in ASEAN (exclude Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia & Philippines)
- Execute sales strategy to achieve sales goals and revenues
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities by developing new OE customers and new channel sales, and recommend relevant products and focus on longer life cycles for customers
- Evaluate partner distributor sales performance for the assigned segments and recommend improvements

**KEYS TO SUCCESS**:
***

Establish a strong Industrial practice to increase our penetration into key segments, including Heavy duty industrial and Mobility. Develop an effective go-to-market model leveraging on a direct-to-market and distribution networks to serve these key markets effectively, across ASEAN. To build domain experts able to lead sales with specification approach and deliver customize systems.
- Able to lead sales engagements with systems selling approach
- Develop standardize proposal packages and value proposition
- Drive sales volume and market share growth
- Sales analysis, reporting and represent country needs to global Product Line Management
- Performance measurements will include new customers and sales targets assignment

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:
This person must have at least 5 years hands on experience supporting aggressive expansion plans and business transformation in ASEAN. Must have hands on direct selling, channel experience in ASEAN. markets and be able to directly lead Greenfield expansion plans.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in product line management will be a plus
- Minimum 5 years related experience in enterprise sales and/or business development
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strategic thinking and planning with strong commercial acumen.
- Key account sales planning and sales engagement
- Previous major account selling experience required
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal
