**Role: Manager/Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships
**What is the Role About?**

The person supports corporate strategy in execution by connecting with potential partners to fulfil the strategic objectives and vision identified.

The person is expected to identify and bring on board partners based on defined business models and establish mid to long term business relationships. The person must also build visibility of EZL’s capabilities to the partners so that **EZL always remain top of mind **for any new initiatives.

A key aspect of this role is to manage the partner with Land Transport Authority (LTA) on various strategic initiatives. This task involves reporting KPIs, providing updates on various initiatives and driving some of those initiatives with a view of balancing EZ-Link’s success metrics.

The key deliverables and performance indicators for this role will be based on new revenue opportunities created from established partnerships that the person closes where the potential revenue is defined by corporate strategy

Other initiatives that may be identified from time to time by corporate strategy that may drive intangible benefits to EZL such as increased visibility to the public and government agencies, strengthening of branding, etc.

The person will report into the Corporate Strategy Lead to execute the strategies defined with partners.

**What are the key responsibilities of the role?**

The incumbent is to work with the Corporate Strategy Lead to set the company strategic direction for its business and products. The role will have to ensure that the company’s strategy is constantly updated and relevant based on industry changes and developments, identify potential strategic partners to collaborate with (either via partnership or through JVs or acquisition), and to work with the various product teams to ensure that the execution is done in alignment with the company’s strategic roadmap.

The person will work with the Corporate Strategy Lead to do the following:
a) Review various strategic planning outcomes from the organization’s internal strategy planning against numerous existing tactical nature implementation (for existing and new products for current and new market segments) to derive strategic level business goals and KPIs for competitive advantage;
b) To continually recalibrate the organization’s vision for the future by iterating on the strategy and tactics to coordinate implementation of strategic initiatives by defining or reviewing priorities, recommending resource allocation, partnership, investment, discontinuation of projects, etc.

c) To avoid a perpetual cycle of trying to catch up with competitors and external disruption by conducting scenario planning to derive strategies to tackle ecosystem disruption due to challenges of digital disruption, existing competitors, regulation, new entrants, and substitutes (products/services).

The KPIs will be a mix of overall company revenue targets and performance indicators that are shared across the management team. The role will be more focused on outcomes rather than deliverables to ensure that all initiatives are designed and aligned to meet the desired corporate outcomes (e.g. customer acquisition, active users, overall revenue, etc.).

**What is needed for this Role?**

The person should have:
1. At least 7 years’ experience in relationship and/or partnership management with a proven track record of accomplishments. Proven experience in engaging and managing partners and clients at mid to senior levels

2. Experience in financial services industry is ideal but not mandatory. A keen interest in Fintech industry would be a plus

3. The person must be able to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve collective outcomes, be able to articulate ideas and concepts to senior management, therefore having excellent communication and presentation skills is a must.
