Partnership Manager - APAC
Overview:
The Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (C&I) team is responsible for product management and innovative product development of products and services to address the evolving risk & cyber security needs of all of MasterCard’s various customer segments. The C&I team was established with the responsibility to safeguard all aspects of safety and security in payments and have made great strides with new products, services and standards, positively impacting all aspects of our current and future payment eco-system.
Ekata, a Mastercard company, is the global standard in identity verification, providing businesses worldwide the ability to link any digital transaction to the human behind it. Our Ekata Identity Engine, the first and only of its kind, uses complex machine learning to combine features derived from the billions of transactions within our proprietary network and the data from our graph to deliver industry leading risk assessment solutions.
As Strategic Partner Manager, you will represent Ekata’s brand and lead our relationships with key strategic partners, driving Ekata’s rapid revenue growth and expansion in the market. We are focused on growing market share with key channel partners via out ‘Partner First’ strategy. In this role you will gain experience working with senior business executives, assisting in complex business negotiations, leading technical and product training, and managing key relationships across multiple geographic regions. This role will also focus on special projects across within the partnership organization, providing experience across all aspects of Ekata org.
In this role You will:
- Maintain Ekata as the Global Partner of Choice for identity verification data with our top tier platform and referal partners
- Work closely with the Strategic Partnership Directors to help drive team strategy and win new business opportunities with key partners.
- Assist with the day-to-day management of our most strategic relationships, developing scalable business processes and operating procedures.
- Work cross-functionally with Channel Sales Executives and Account Managers to optimize sales and partner management.
- Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with our partner contacts, while also developing new ones.
- Share responsibility for all aspects of partner growth: prioritization of business, strategic and financial planning, negotiation of new contracts, and ongoing partner management.
- Be accountable for success metrics and partner revenue growth.
- Maintain direct relationships with partners, proactively resolving issues and creating business value.
- Collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Legal, serving as an advocate for your partners while balancing Ekata’s goals.
- Develop skill to eventually operate with little oversight, being both an executor and strategic thinker.
- Track, analyze and communicate to senior executive key metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships.
- Be willing to travel 2-3 times per month for partner visits, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), partner training and conferences.
- Evangelize on behalf of Ekata and Mastercard Identity Services products

- Business development and/or partnerships experience, preferably with a successful record of accomplishment managing business relationships and cross-functional projects
- Experience in selling into large enterprises as a quota carrying individual contributor role
- Ability to take direction and proceed to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation to achieve goals.
- Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders, both internally and externally.
- Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing initiatives at scale, and delivering results.
- Polished and professional business demeanor and presentation skills.
- The ability to map complex business organizations.
- Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the week (typically less)
