THE ROLE:
Product Characterization team is looking for a highly motivated individual to evaluate the performance of AECG products. As a member of the product characterization team, you will develop, and characterize the next generation PCIE/CXL IP block.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and execute validation characterization plan for PCIE/CXL technologies, ensuring compliance with the industry specifications ( PCI-SIG and CXL Consortium )
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for efficient data collection and analysis
- Stay updated with the latest developments in PCIe and CXL specifications and trends to inform product strategy and direction
- Builds basic statistical analysis skills and generate trends for the analysis of device feature performance over process windows..
- Takes responsibility for isolating the issue to a specific area such as test gap, SW bug, silicon bug, or process deviation using bench setup.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- Experience with silicon characterization, validation and debug process.
- Strong understanding of PCIE and CXL protocols, including familiarity with signaling, timing and performance metrics
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
- Experience in Linux environment and scripting languages ( e.g. Python, Perl ) for automation and data processing.
- Strong communication skills, including data presentation and works well in a group environment that spans across continents.
- Experience with AMD/Xilinx Vivado and FPGA design flow is a plus.
