**Overview**

As a Cloud Solution Presales professional, you will play a crucial role in helping customers understand and adopt cloud-based technologies and solutions. You will work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, design tailored cloud solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients. Your expertise in cloud computing, solution architecture, and business acumen will be instrumental in driving customer success and expanding the company's cloud services portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges, objectives, and requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to design cloud-based solutions that meet the specific needs of clients. This involves leveraging knowledge of cloud technologies, platforms, and services to architect robust and scalable solutions.
- Create detailed proposals and presentations that outline the proposed cloud solutions, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in cloud technologies, services, and offerings from various cloud providers (e.g., VMWare, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to effectively recommend solutions that align with client needs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on how cloud solutions can address their business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct product demonstrations and develop proof of concepts to showcase the functionality and benefits of proposed cloud solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with sales teams, solution architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between customer requirements and proposed solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, responsiveness, and proactive support throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive offerings, and opportunities for innovation in cloud solutions.
- Continuously refine and enhance presales processes, methodologies, and collateral to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the presales function.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience in cloud computing, including expertise in Private and Public cloud platforms (e.g., VMWare, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong technical background and understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, with a high-level understanding of concepts such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Proven track record of successfully selling cloud solutions and services to enterprise customers.
- Proficient in solution design, proposal development, and project management
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance, and security requirements related to cloud deployments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications in cloud platform technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect)
- Experience in a pre-sales or solution architect role within a cloud service provider or IT consulting firm.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the customer's industry and competitive landscape.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically.
