**Position Overview**
As an **Account Executive**, you are a representative of Kaiterra and ultimately responsible for growing our revenue in the **Asia-Pacific market**.
Our clients include some of the world’s most respected companies and brands. They come to us for solutions to complex problems in their environments, not just to buy products. You will work with them to understand their needs and motivations, and guide them through a process to help them achieve their goals.
To succeed in this role, you must be a quick learner, a strong communicator, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Location: Remote, Asia-Pacific Region
- Working hours: Full-time, flexible
- Compensation: Competitive base pay + uncapped commission
- Paid leave: Unlimited
- Reports to: Global Sales Manager
- Some domestic and international travel may be required
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or other customer-facing roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in building management, indoor air quality, or related fields
- Experience in CRM maintenance
- Familiarity with international logistics
- Familiarity with building automation systems
**Responsibilities**
- Educate the market and customers on Kaiterra products and services as well as the role of indoor air quality in health and building optimization more generally
- Identify opportunities to address customer needs with Kaiterra products and services
- Consult with customers on air quality monitoring best practices including reviewing floor plans, providing guidance on building certification requirements, etc.
- Maintain strong working relationships with end customers and channel partners
- Collaborate with stakeholders from all levels of customer organizations
- Practice good CRM hygiene by keeping up to date records of customer interactions, deal stages, etc.
- Close new revenue from inbound and outbound sources
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Become an expert on indoor air quality monitoring
- Represent Kaiterra at conferences, exhibitions, client meetings, etc.
**Timeline**
- Within 1 month, you will be comfortable working with all of the tools we use internally and have gained a comprehensive understanding of our products and our value to our clients.
- Within 3 months, you will have been involved in multiple high-value deals and become capable of performing your job effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Within 6 months, you will have become an expert in our industry and have used your knowledge to independently generate over $200,000 in new business.
- Within 1 year, you will have generated over $500,000 in new business and be managing and growing your own portfolio of high value clients.
- Within 3 years, you will be in charge of your own geographic or vertical market and leading your own team.
