**About StraitsX**:
The StraitsX team is building the payments infrastructure for Digital Assets in Southeast Asia. We aim to connect millions of individuals and businesses in the region to the Digital Assets market through our suite of products, including StraitsX API and stablecoin issuance. StraitsX is a licensed Major Payment Institution in Singapore under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), XSGD is backed by one Singapore dollar that is being held and safeguarded in a Singapore bank and will always be redeemable on the StraitsX platform. Businesses and individuals can mint and redeem XSGD on the StraitsX platform and spend XSGD with StraitsX partners and businesses can leverage StraitsX APIs to support XSGD. XSGD is the fully collateralized Singapore Dollar stablecoin, powered by open-source blockchain protocols. XSGD is issued by StraitsX, the payment infrastructure for digital assets in Southeast Asia.
**Responsibilities**:
**What you'll be doing**:
- Drive client acquisition, onboard merchant and corporate accounts across our digital assets products - XSGD, XIDR, StraitsX Earn and OTC desk.
- Manage inbound partnerships requests and track pipeline of partners in our CRM
- Understanding clients needs and requests and working with the product team to drive product strategy and roadmap.
- Grow the stablecoin ecosystem by tracking and analyzing key partners in the blockchain/cryptocurrency landscape and collaborate with blockchain foundations to grow the stablecoin ecosystem
- Identifying potential business opportunities and partnerships for StraitsX to develop new use cases for stablecoins.
- Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Manage institutional accounts onboarding process and assist the business team with AML/KYB process.
- Represent StraitsX at relevant conferences and industry events
**What we are looking for**:
- You possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- 2+ years experience in a Business Development Representative, Account Executive, Institutional Sales or similar role in FinTech or blockchain/digital assets firm
- You have a strong understanding or personal experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital assets concepts.
- You have an understanding of the stablecoin value proposition and will be able to drive partnerships with other players within the blockchain ecosystem.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external senior stakeholders.
- You are forward-thinking and approach challenges with a solution-orientated approach.
- You are a team player and you are comfortable and determined in dealing with challenging situations
- You have solid organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, including an acute attention to detail as well as effective time management.
- You have a good understanding of the digital asset landscape across exchanges, wallet providers, L1/2s, cross-chain bridges etc.
- You are able to work independently, is self-driven and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus.
