We are looking for an Area Sales Manager based in either Singapore or Malaysia to support and drive sales in region.

Responsibilities for the position include:

- Business Development & Market Expansion_
- Identify emerging market trends, regulatory changes, and industry challenges to develop targeted sales approaches.
- Drive expansion into new APAC markets, leveraging local networks and strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with product development and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Lead contract negotiations and high-value tender processes for municipal and industrial projects.
- Stakeholder & Customer Engagement_
- Maintain strong relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and key decision-makers in the water sector.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term contract retention through effective relationship management.

We are looking for someone who has:

- A demonstrable track record of selling technology solutions into the water industry, with experience in the B2B environment supported by solid business acumen
- Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective
- Knowledge of target clients, markets and drivers relevant to the markets Mueller Technology Products & services sell into, including the current market structure (e.g. regulation and concessions)
- Proven track record of exceeding established sales quotas
