**The SATS Global Innovation Centre (SGIC)**:
The SATS Global Innovation Centre (SGIC) is the collective term for the Singapore Innovation Hub (SIH) and UK Innovation Hub (UKIH) which together are responsible for driving sustainable food and packaging innovation across all SATS regions and business units. The SIH is located at The Arts House Annexe, Boat Quay in Singapore and UKIH is located at Priory Farm, Redhill Surrey in the UK. Central to and within the SGIC Innovation Hubs are the key competences of the SATS Insight Ecosystem, which works globally to develop human centric insight that informs the innovation process with insight from both western and eastern markets, cultures, communities and consumers. An integral construct within the Insights Ecosystem is Sustainability Thought Leadership which consists of a deep understanding of food and packaging sustainability and how consumer perception and behaviour relates to this pivotal theme of our time. Together these key competences act as central and direct feeds to our Design Thinking Framework which is at the heart of the work completed by the SGIC innovation hubs.

The collective innovation team within the two SGIC Innovation Hubs work as one to define the SATS Group Innovation Pipeline. They will deliver innovative new sustainable food and packaging solutions by openly collaborating internally with colleagues and externally with third party innovators, thought leaders, IHTs, VCs and food, packaging & tech start-ups.

**Key accountabilities**

**The Role**:
The Insights Executive develops comprehensive consumer and market insight, through the analysis of market, customer, consumer and competitor intelligence and trends. The individual will be responsible for supporting innovation projects from the development of the brief, through analysis and working with external partners as required, to producing the final reports and the development of compelling Points of View (POV). The Insights Executive will then use these to make recommendations for potential business opportunities to explore and human centric problems to solve. The Insight Executive will research and bring to the SGIC leading-edge methodologies and best practices and propose ways in which to integrate them into our future insight strategy, plans and innovation projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of the Insights team to review client briefs or develop their own and positively challenging clients, themself and internal colleagues, to ensure the briefs accurately reflect the work to be completed or problem to be evaluated.
- Analyse and draw conclusions from global / regional consumer data and insights, industry and technology developments, relevant to the various reports / POVs.
- Extract actionable and compelling insights and data from the insights ecosystem's various internal and external tools / resources and network partners, to inform innovation pipeline projects.
- Develop small-scale, inhouse quantitative and qualitative research projects and conduct and produce the final report, ensuring delivery to the agreed timescales, standard and budget.
- Support Insights lead to work with the Communication Designer to frame the overall narrative, visual representation and successful presentation of each report / POV, in compelling and creative ways, including workshop facilitation.
