**Our Client**:
Our client is one of the leading and well-known brands that provides complete engineering solutions for the Offshore and Marine Industry. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Executive/ Executive to join their team.
**The Responsibilities**:
Procurement Management
- Collaborate with project team members/user departments on procurement of project equipment, vessel systems and tooling, review purchase requisition/technical specifications and controlling project procurement costs within budget
- Source and identify potential service providers, while evaluating and approving quotes to ensure they meet technical and commercial requirements
- Prepare commercial bid evaluation reports, PO, and documentation for purchasing activities, to ensure that the purchase agreement is addressed clearly to the agreed specification requirement, the conditions under supervision of senior team members
- Utilise different approaches to achieve the best outcome of each deal in supplier negotiations
- Summarize sourcing recommendations and convince stakeholders on recommended sourcing decisions
- Execute project procurement plan to ensure all awarded contracts are technically and commercially procured quickly and accurately at the best price under the supervision of senior team members
- Coordinate with suppliers on the factory testing schedule for testing and commissioning on site
- Organize meetings related to procurement, communicate with customers, section representatives, cross-functional project teams (e.g. Engineering, Project Management, and production etc. to provide input on purchasing
- milestones, delivery times and technical or commercial issues
- Lead category management identification, development, and reporting initiatives for cost savings
Procurement Improvement
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers to select and recommend suppliers for the evaluation of the performance of existing suppliers for improvement pursuant to supervision of senior team members
- Report to NCs on procurement activities and identifying the cause of analysis to correct all reported NCs and ensure that all measures have been taken to prevent the recurrence of similar problems
- Prepare audits for procurement activities and provides information for audit close-out to resolve issues encountered, document and maintain reports for further process improvement
- Propose and implement process optimization to purchasing management and control procedures
Procurement Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with other members of the procurement team as needed to meet functional goals and deadlines
- Provide support on various projects as needed to promote multifunctional learning and development, balance team workload and improve overall team productivity
**The Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing/ Business Administration, or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of working experience in expediting functions
