This role is based in Singapore and as such all normal working days must be carried out in Singapore.

Join us as a North Asia Sales Associate
- In this customer focussed role, you’ll be covering global and regional financial institutions located in Taiwan and Hong Kong for our Credit, Rates, and Loan products
- You'll help to develop close relationships with clients and internal trading and research teams, which you'll help leverage to create outstanding and sustainable results that benefit both the bank and our customers

**What you'll do**:
As a North Asia Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for analysing relevant market related data, trends and events, and formulating views and trade ideas for investor clients and internal sales colleagues. You’ll build long term relationships while discovering client requirements in order to meet their needs.

You’ll also be responsible for:

- Helping to manage the trading relationship with the client portfolio, promoting and growing both the wallet and mind share of NatWest Markets with each client
- Delivering on commitments made to customers
- Managing internal processes around clients, such as KYC, risk controls and post trade services

**The skills you'll need**:
You'll need significant prior experience and knowledge of credit and rates products, including derivatives, combined with a passion for understanding macro markets, both regionally and at a global level.

You'll have strong communication skills and a sales mindset, and you’ll be excellent both verbally and in writing, and adept at building long term relationships. You’ll also have a broad understanding of regulations and risk management.

As well as this, we’re looking for:

- A strong academic background
- Significant experience in sales and client-facing roles
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin, ideally with a grasp of Cantonese
- Detailed understanding of credit, rates, and structured products
- A resourceful self-starter with a can-do, commercial attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills across all levels
