**Job title - **Food Science Intern - Processed Meat Application

**Location -** West, Singapore

**Purpose**: The purpose of this intern is to support processed meat lab work ingredients management, and lab/pilot plant equipment maintenance.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Ingredients management for lab preparation and testing of meat protein related food product such as burgers nuggets ham, sausages, marinated chicken etc.
- Safely operate lab and pilot plant equipment and responsible for equipment in good condition and well maintenance.
- Set up database to maintain record of all evaluation of ingredients and prototypes formulation. Evaluations via sensory and/or instrument analysis

**At the end of the internship, the intern will**
- Develop understanding on sequence of ingredients mixing.
- Operate lab and pilot plant equipment safely and independently.
- Prepare and evaluate meat protein product.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to weigh and mix ingredients accurately
- Possess open-minded personality and willingness to learn
- Hold passion in foods
- Hands on and well organized
- Comfortable with handling knife, sharp utensils and kitchen work

**Working Hours**:
Monday to Thursday: 8am to 5pm

Friday: 8am to 3.30pm
